Life at Our School

From the moment you join Nightingale, you become part of a team that knows one another, supports one another and shares a commitment to helping children succeed.

As a small, one-form entry primary school, we are able to build strong relationships with our pupils, families and colleagues. There is a genuine sense of belonging here, with teamwork, kindness and mutual support shaping everyday school life. Many of our colleagues have chosen to spend much of their careers at Nightingale, creating a stable, experienced team that warmly welcomes new staff and enjoys working together.

No two days are ever the same. You might be inspiring children through engaging lessons, celebrating their achievements, supporting them to overcome challenges, working alongside families or contributing to the wider life of the school through community events, enrichment opportunities and whole-school initiatives.

Our commitment to children extends beyond the classroom. As a proud part of the Woolwich community, we work closely with families and local organisations, always striving to make a positive difference both inside and beyond the school gates. From our Eco-Schools work to being recognised as Superkind's Social Impact School of the Year, kindness, service and community spirit are woven into everyday life at Nightingale.
